Here we are, The DayMakers MixVol 5.  At this rate we'll have hit Vol. 10 about the time I graduate from college, it could be a while. As usual the selections are a mixture of new and old, and all fresh.  We start out with a new one from ProF (insideamind) look out for his new album this summer.  Next up is GavinSense, Audio taken from a video of his.  Then a little Kid Koala, Robo Shuffel, followed by Rob Swift's Dope on Plastic.  What ever happened to ColdKutCombo?  Next is a track from the ColdKut Member Mixtape freaturing Sirness & Sol Kontrol.  Then moving on to the sci-scratch KingTragic & PrimeMinister handel that.   Next a little ThoughtControl, did you check their free ep?  I listen to every track that is uploaded to tablist.net, some suite me better than others, Dj Syruz dosen't dissapoint.  Next is a track from the new self titled Vince Mack Mahon record.  I assume you've checked the Community Scratch Podcasts, if not don't delay.  Skizo (Bungalow Zen), provides what you need for Posers & Supposers.  Next is a little trip down memory lane with Dj Realm, The Allies (Dj Craze), Shortee and Alien Army.  I'm not sure where this next track comes from, Paul Pre featuring Soular, Nowadays.  So if you know, tell me.  Finally a little something from myself, its taken from the MindState Six Song Slump Buster, 2005 ish.  Enjoy.

ProF, of iNSiDEaMiND, has a new ep coming out this summer. The first single from The Superorganism will be available for download starting tomorrow, March 17th on ProF's myspace page.  The track is A Life Force, sounds pretty chill, with some head nod mixed in, look out for the single & more details as I get them.  Check the video clip below & some info from the press release. 

As a member of renowned turntablist act iNSiDEaMiND, ProF (born Cheldon Paterson a.k.a dj Vision) is definitely no stranger to bending minds. With a well rooted background in vinyl manipulation, he brings a new flavour to the scratch. One part tactician, one part time traveler, this guy twists and turns up beats to unexpected depths with his melancholic samples and off-time tricks. This can be heard and felt in the production on his forth coming EP "Superorganism"...... Out this Summer with a special limited edition release on 5&1/4 records.

To Follow up their Fragmental EP, Steptone & Prof. Fingers, are releasing The Tiniest Spy 12".  This 12" is to promote their upcoming album Scatterpopia (Fall 2008).  On May 1st the 12" will be available world wide, physical & digital.  No word on where to buy this just yet; but I've got a couple ideas.  See the links at the bottom.  One of the tracks from this 12", A matter of time was featured on The Day Makers Mix Vol 2.
