Mr. Dibbs latest album 'Deadworld Reborn' is available on Bandcamp name your price. All proceeds are being donated to Marcus "Skandal Da Ruckus Man" Mitchell's family and 2 year old daughter. Mr. Dibbs & Skandal were both in the hospital at the same time battling some serious shit. Skandal passed away after helping Dibbs make his recovery.
Mr. Dibbs has also posted some of his classic mixtapes on Bandcamp, such as 'Turntable Scientifics', 'Turntable Hardcore', and 'Outer Perimeter'. These should not be overlooked.
A note from Mr. Dibbs:
I died last year. For 53 seconds. One short month after the quiet release of Deadworld. Foreshadowing’s a bitch. What I could not see at the time was being reborn into the world of the living through someone else’s full-circle leaving.
Holed up in the hospital for a few weeks, I was an inadvertent resident of an impromptu hip hop retirement home. Battling leukemia on the floor above me was my longtime friend Marcus “Skandal da Ruckus Man” Mitchell. An epic MC and producer, of equally epic bodily proportions, Skandal’s heart was big, but his production skills and lyrical largesse were even bigger. I dragged my sometimes half-incoherent ass, IV and all, down the hallways and into the elevator to visit my homie. The nurses always thought I was lost. Fuck that.
I was FOUND…in the strong lifeline we’ve all come to know and love as Skandal. He was my pusher man…keep on pushin’, Dibbs, until you get to the other side of you.

Kid Koala seems to have his hands in all things creative. I'm sure you know the music, probably his graphic novel and animation or maybe you were lucky enough to check out a headphone concert. His latest album '12 Bit Blues', will be released September 17th on Ninja Tune. He used the classic SP-1200 to arrange all the tracks then finished them off with cuts. The blues arranged By Kid Koala are as the blues should be, raw with with something to make your head nod. Check the Ninja Tune link below you can preview all the tracks and order the limited edition vinyl & cardboard 'hand powered record player'. Would you expect anything less from Kid Koala?

Wow, The Beat Junkies have been getting down for 20 years and to Celebrate LRG have put together a short documentary, 'For The Record' about them. They are such an amazing dj crew. Respect.
The World Famous Beat Junkies, comprised of members J-Rocc, DJ Babu, D-Styles, DJ Rhettmatic, DJ What?!, Mr. Choc, Icy Ice, Curse, DJ Shortkut, Melo-D, Symphony and DJ Havik have been putting in work on the turntables since they were first established in 1992. Known internationally as the premiere DJ crew, their longevity is a testament to their immense musical talents. In celebration of the legendary Beat Junkies, LRG presents For the Record – a short documentary profiling the collective with contributions from the likes of A Trak, Q Bert and Peanut Butter Wolf – with DJ Jazzy Jeff commenting that “there are no DJ’s out today that haven’t been influenced by the Beat Junkies at all.” In addition, the Beat Junkies are heading out on the road for an international tour with stops across the US, Europe and Asia and this past weekend kicked off their tour at the Echoplex in Los Angeles, CA on June 30. Laced in commemorative letterman jackets from LRG that celebrates 20-years of hard work and hustle, here's to another 20 more in the game.

The Scratch Bandits new Album "31 Novembre", is out today. If you've followed The Scratch Bandits Crew at all you know they have a unique jazzy and soulful sound. Their previous EP "En petites coupures...", and countless online videos have showcased their style and impressive live shows. "31 Novembre", is the next step in the evolution of The Scratch Bandits sound. This album is solid all the way through. You can get the album on iTunes. Highly recommended.
Listen to some tracks from the album and check the links below.
I always look forward to hearing new music from NickNack. NickNack's latest full length album, 'State Machine' doesn't disappoint. Its 17 tracks of NickNack's production and cuts, with tracks featuring A.Dd+, Bavu, Crew54 and LOEGz. Its available from several digi shops including Crowd Control Records & BandCamp. Highly Recommended.
"State Machine" is inspired by the human apparatus which is a complex 'machine' capable of an extremely wide range of 'states' (as in conditions with respect to circumstances). As 'machines' we can relate to one another through these rich and meaningful 'states'. They help to define and shape the paths which we travel throughout our lives.
This album in and of itself is meant to be a stateful sonic journey, traversing a variety of genres, moods and styles (from angst riddled raps to relaxing soulful instrumentals).
Nick's 4th full length release features 17 original songs (50 mins) including gems from A.Dd+, Bavu, Crew54 and LOEGz.
