David Vangel's latest album, 'Breadth Control', is out now on Equinox Records. This album is a mixture of sampling & live instruments. I've listened to this album several times over the past two weeks. It is an amazing album, the kind you want to throw on the turntable and let it go. Its available in vinyl, digi & CD. All this nerdy technology is paying off. Facebook, Twitter and so on. 5&1/4 records twitter, referencing turntable radio, referencing an iller clothing twitter / tweet (not so sure about all this new nomenclature). Anyway getting down to brass tacks, more free music. This one is Vangel Vs. Unkut. It's a 3 song ep with artwork & some extensive information in the tracklist.

Equinox records has released a free ep, 'The 5inch Files', leading up to the release of 'One Year & A Day - A Sound Exposure Vol.2'.  The free ep will also be available for as a very limited box set of five 5 inch records. The following contributed tracks to the ep: Vangel, Misanthrop, Aqua Luminus III., Mnemotrauma, J.Baracuz, B-Ju, SmoKey131, DJ Snatchatec & The Raincoatman.  'The 5inch files'

is surely worth your time to download.  I've had it less than a week and according to my itunes I've listened to it about 10 times.  There aren't any tracks I skip when I'm listening to it; but my favorite seems to be 'Yellow Cab' by J. Baracuz.  I was not familiar with several of the artists that contributed; but thats going to change.  

    To get more info on snagging this limited release of 25, I would recommend you sign up for the Equinox Records email list.  It will go on sale on January 25th at a couple online shops & maybe a few copies will be sold on ebay by Equinox, for 'a reasionable price'.  Links & a track list are below.
